Would you pay $2 for a ring and expect it to be made of pure gold? Of course not!
Be prepared to pay a fair amount for the work that you want done. If you want the realtor to work hard at selling your house, be prepared to pay him well for it.
Similarly, do not expect to find an amazing agent in a small, backwater firm. Agents who work for larger firms are usually there because they have experience and are good at what they do.
