The new keysafeekey operates using an infra red beam to unlock the unit and record the access. The state of the art systems now allow the real estate agent to open the lockbox simply by synchronizing up their mobile phone to the ekey device. The Supra Ekey lockbox system then records the access, as well as the details of the agent.
