How would you like to have a new house delivered to your lot? Modern Modular Homes are just that. Built at the construction site and delivered by transport, in sections, to your lot or land. The home is built following strict guides on quality control and is tested before they move the sections.

Your home is delivered by transport and the modules are fully protected from the weather for traveling. When the home is at the location the workers will place it on the foundation and begin to piece together the giant modules. The outcome is no different than regular construction methods and will look just like it was constructed on site

If you have already chosen the design of your house and how will it look from inside, if the manufacturer is quick to meet the orders then the modern modular homes can be built in a week or two.

The advantage of choosing the modern modular homes is that they are not delayed by weather conditions as it is built by part in a factory. The transport and assembling takes another 2 to 4 weeks.

Modular homes are under the category of mobile homes, as they are required to follow the codes of construction. They are not mobile as the mobile home that can be left on a trailer, hooked up, and moved.

The advantage of modular homes is that they can be designed the way you want your home to look and only the designs are built in sections. The modern modular homes look like the houses constructed on site. Computer aided designs are used to build the houses to your exact specifications or the architect can modify their standard plans to meet your requirements.

The basic modular is like the double-wide mobile homes in size. The technique of construction is very different. The modular uses all the same materials and supplies as a standard house.

The good news is that banks finance the modern modular homes. The appraiser and the insurance agencies too, treat the modular homes as the built on site houses. You could ask the banks and mortgage agents to explain how these are financed.

The construction cost of the modern modular homes is less than the houses built on site. The modular home is energy-efficient and reduces your electricity bills. Also as these houses are built faster they can be moved into sooner so the cost of paying rent elsewhere too is reduced.
