Many times over the years, a new subdivision is created with little or no real thought about the infrastructure required to support the newly-created community. But this is definitely not an issue with Anthem. Anything you can think of that you would need is either already there or is being developed.

Anthem, a creation of Dell-Webb, is situated just outside Phoenix, Arizona and includes homes that will fit almost any budget, from the low $200K to the “Wow, now that’s impressive!” category; there’s a house to suit every taste. Whether you’ve just welcomed your first child into the world or just retired from the rat race and need something a little simpler, Anthem has the home you want. Anthem has all of this, plus it is centrally located to I-17 which will give you a quick and easy commute to Phoenix.

For families, there are wonderful school districts, incredible sports complexes, filled to the brim libraries, and many theater groups, all vital to the task of keeping your children active and entertained.

And you won’t find better recreational opportunities anywhere. There’s a wonderful community park that features an open meeting area, duck ponds and waterfalls that will make you won’t to sit back and soak it all in.

The park includes a model train that runs through it and provides rides to young and old alike.

Fitness fanatics will find plenty of ways to stay busy as well, with basketball and tennis courts, gymnasium, and two swimming pools that are unrivaled in the Phoenix area.

The gym is spacious and has everything you could want for your workout from treadmills to free weights to stationary bikes. You can also hone your mountain climbing skills with the rock-climbing wall or work on your cardio with an aerobics class.

And of course, there are the two pools. There is a large pool for swimming and lounging, as well as a larger one which features amazing water slides and toys which easily compare to any water park in the U.S. Look out for the giant bucket that fills with water only to turn over and come splashing down on you. Great fun for all kids aged from 8 to 80.

You won’t have to travel far to do your regular shopping either because Anthem includes such “Big Box” stores as Wal-Mart, Home Depot and other national chains. There is also an outlet mall for those canny shoppers among us who like saving money. After a fun day enjoying everything Anthem has to offer, you can relax at one of the local haute cuisine restaurants or take the kids for a burger at one of the popular fast-food places.
