The Mortgage Foreclosure Sale – A Secret Way to Profit, Without Buying Property

The mortgage foreclosure sale (as well as the tax foreclosure sale) has grown to be one of the worst ways to acquire property. Everyone and his brother is a “real estate investor” these days, and while there are still great deals to be had on property if you purchase them outside the sale, there’s a way to make money from these sales that doesn’t involve owning any property and that almost no one knows about.

When more is bid for property at mortgage foreclosure sale than is actually owed for the mortgage, that excess amount is due back to the owner. (If you think about it, that’s their equity, and it rightfully belongs to them.) They can usually claim it as simply as filling out a few forms. Here’s the outrageous part: the owners often don’t know that they’re entitled to the money, so the government just holds on to it until it’s no longer legally bound to – and then can keep the money. The owner is just out of luck, plain and simple – but they never even knew about it anyway. Very sad.

That’s where you come in. Due to a little-known loophole, these funds are not subject to finder’s fee caps like other funds in the State Unclaimed Funds department. That means that it’s worth your while to go after these owners and assist them in recovering their funds (there’s a very specific procedure for doing so), and can legally charge 30-50% as a finder’s fee for doing so.

Now more than ever, these funds are being created. They routinely run into the tens of thousands of dollars. If you can find these funds, find their owners, and assist in putting the two back together again, you’re looking at an easy five-figure per month income – without ever having to attend a mortgage foreclosure sale again. And best of all, you’re really doing a great service for these owners, who will almost certainly never find out about the funds without the intervention of someone like you.
